CrimeTech recently offered a fun, interactive crime scene activity for 5th graders at San Jose Episcopal Day School in Jacksonville, Florida. Based on a mystery novel being read in their English class, the school mascot, a furry bear, was bear-napped, and several suspects, including a Barbie doll and a minion, were investigated. Students reviewed techniques in preservation and collection of evidence. EVI-PAQ® ID Tents, BIO-FOAM® Impression Foam and BVDA Gelatin Lifters were a few of our products used in a mock laboratory setting.
For your laboratory needs, CrimeTech carries a wide variety of forensic products. Please visit www.crimetech.net to view our online offerings.

The hassle of soggy and illegible paperwork has plagued outdoor professionals for decades. Jerry Darling developed “Rite in the Rain” paper to address that problem for the Pacific Northwest logging industry in the 1920’s and their product has been evolving ever since.
Jerry has since passed away but his vision has expanded worldwide. Still made in Tacoma, Washington, “Rite in the Rain” is used around the globe in situations ranging from desert warfare to rainforest insect research.
The motto “Outdoor writing products for outdoor writing people” says it all.
CrimeTech is pleased to offer a variety of notebook kits, labels, pens, copy paper and grid paper suitable for the first responder or crime scene technician, to continue work during inclement weather.
